The CHILTON Bar-Graph Display is a useful alternative to analogue meters. Displaying both VU and Peak readings. The scale measures from +9 down to - 42dBs, the 20dB switch extends this to -62dBs, which will indicate any low level background noise. In the Peak reading mode a further refinement is a fast attack switch, a useful feature when making a digital recording. Analogue meters do not indicate fast transient peaks which can cause the signal to break-up. The top Ultra Bright LED is peak reading with a hold circuit, This can be custom set to the required safe peak level. The brightness of the LED’s can be adjusted according to the ambient room lighting. As the LED’s are both colour and brightness matched the preset controls the display group, with the except of the Peak Hold LED. Can be supplied for Programme, Monitors, Sub-Groups and PFL. Note: Bar-Graphs are required on the 16 Module Frame

VU METERS are
Supplied as Standard with peak LED as per BAR-GRAPH. Rear illumination is provided by
a ring of Ultra Bright LEDs following the scale profile. This solves the
annoying problem of lamp failure
A jumper allows two levels of brightness.
